Why does Granola Gourmet use Low Glycemic Index ingredients?

*Foods with a low Glycemic Index release carbohydrates and glucose more slowly into the blood stream, thereby keeping blood sugar more stable. Elevated blood glucose levels can cause hormonal and metabolic changes that may affect health.

Why does it matter if I get a blood sugar spike?

Weight loss is impossible if you are hungry. *Blood sugar spikes trigger your body to produce extra insulin.  This extra insulin causes you to become hungry.

10 grams of sugar and 20 grams of carbs isn’t that a lot for a person with diabetes to have?

How much fat do Granola Gourmet bars have?

Either 4.5 or 6  grams per bar, most of which includes Omega 3 fatty acids (the healthy fats) and comes from Flaxseeds, Almonds, Sunflower Seeds, and Olive Oil.

NO, Granola Gourmet Energy Bars are made with Oats not Wheat.

Is there GLUTEN in your product?

Yes, Oats and Wheat are grown in the same fields and because of this Oats can be contaminated by the gluten from Wheat.

Is this a protein bar?

No, this is an energy bar. We have made a conscious effort to produce the highest quality product we could that won’t spike your blood sugar. Most protein bars are high in sugar, fat and sodium.

Most orders will ship by the next business day; however please allow up to 2 business days for us to ship your order. If this is not possible for some reason, we will notify you immediately.

(1-2 business days for us to pack and ship) + (shipping transit time) = Total Delivery Time

For example, the transit time will be 3-6 business days, depending on where you live. This means your total delivery time will be 1-2 business days for packing + 3-6 business days (transit time), for a total of 4-8 business days from the time you place your order.

How do I change the shipping address for an active recurring order?

From the account dashboard, select Manage Addresses and select Edit. The Edit Address segment is displayed and you can update the existing address.

How do I modify my energy bar subscriptions?

You can cancel or change your energy bars till the time you receive a subscription renewal email notification. Once the email notification is sent, you cannot change your subscriptions until after your order is delivered.   After that order is delivered you can make cancel or make changes which will go into effect for your next delivery.

However, you can place a NEW recurring subscription before the next delivery date; that new recurring subscription will be processed and shipped out on the next business day. The product for this subscription will be on its own “new” delivery schedule.  

From the account dashboard, select Manage Subscriptions. Your subscriptions will be displayed. Select Change from the Change/Cancel option corresponding to the energy bar you would like to modify. Your shopping cart contents page is displayed. Modify the number of boxes in Qty field of the energy bars.

Note: You will not be able to make any modifications 7 days before your next delivery date. A pop-up message is displayed as “You can cancel/modify only after MM/DD/YYYY”.

How do I add a new flavor?

From the account dashboard, select Manage Subscriptions. Your subscriptions will be displayed. Select Change from the Change/Cancel option corresponding to the energy bar you would like to modify. Your shopping cart contents page is displayed. Select Back to Shopping to add a new flavor of the energy bar.

How do I reset my password?

It’s absolutely fine to forget your password. Just click on the forgot password link - /shop/my-account/ and enter your email id that you have provided to register your account. An email is immediately sent out to your email address. Please note that each time you click “forgot password” link, a new password is generated. So, please avoid clicking more than once. Also, remember to use the latest email. To avoid confusion, we recommend that you delete your previous emails. Helpful hint: just copy and paste the new password.

Is there a password requirement?

Absolutely, we want to keep your account safe and secure. We have created a strong password requirement. Password should contain 6-20 characters with at least one digit, a lower and an upper case character.

Can I order Variety packs to be delivered recurring?

No, we are not offering Variety packs to be part of any recurring deliveries.
